Dr. Le Page Receives Two Fellowships
Dr. Lydia Le Page has been awarded a Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellowship by the National Academies. She will be spending 3 months in Washington DC as part of the Healthy Longevity Global Roadmap team, at the National Academy of Medicine. The team is constructing a comprehensive report assessing the challenges presented by population aging, and will provide evidence-based recommendations for global societal change to address these challenges.
Dr. Le Page was also thrilled to receive a Research Fellowship from the Alzheimer's Association this spring. This will provide funding over the next two years for her investigation of ketone metabolism in the Alzheimer's brain using imaging methods, enable attendance at the Association's international conference, and provide an invaluable mentoring structure for her research career.
