Our laboratory is located on the second and third floors of the Quantitative Biosciences Institute (QBI) at UCSF Mission Bay.
Our research is primarily conducted in the UCSF Hyperpolarized MRI Technology Resource Center, which encompasses the UCSF Biomedical NMR lab and the Surbeck Laboratory for Advanced Imaging. The Quantitative Biosciences Institute (QBI) has roughly 96,000 sq. ft. of space on five floors designed to house multi-department and multi-disciplinary laboratories, foster collaborations across the biomedical and the physical sciences, in order to seek quantitative methods to address pressing problems in biology and biomedicine. QBI investigators are from UCSF’s world-leading Schools of Pharmacy and of Medicine, and are focused on systems, structural, chemical, and computational biology, as well as imaging, medical devices and drug discovery.
